Microsoft Power BI Certification – The Digital Adda
Microsoft offers several certifications related to Power BI, which is a business analytics tool used for data visualization and reporting. These certifications validate your skills and knowledge in using Power BI effectively. As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the available Power BI certifications were as follows:
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate This certification focuses on skills related to working with Power BI to analyze and visualize data. It covers topics such as data preparation, modeling, visualization, and collaboration. To earn this certification, you need to pass the exam DA-100: Analyzing Data with Microsoft Power BI.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate This certification is broader and covers building solutions with the Power Platform, which includes Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate (previously known as Flow), and Power Virtual Agents. While it encompasses Power BI, it also goes beyond it to include other components. To earn this certification, you need to pass the exam PL-100: Microsoft Power Platform App Maker.
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Certified User This certification is designed for individuals who have a foundational understanding of Power BI and want to demonstrate their proficiency. It requires passing the exam 70-778: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI.
